The most sensitive periods of brain development take place in the years before a child enters the formal schooling system. The process of building the brain connections that matter for the long term occurs at an astonishing rate in very specific areas of the child’s brain and at very specific stages. Given this understanding, for the last several years we have designed programs to stimulate the development of the brains of pre-school children living in poor socio-economic environments. The programs are delivered through a non-profit organization called AmazingBrainz™.
